Here are some WordPress plug-ins that will benefit your WordPress blog experience.
Blog Database Backup
Backup of data is very important. The
WordPress database backup comes as a standard plug-in with WordPress.
It is nice because it does not require phpMyAdmin. One thing it will
not do is restore the MySQL database.
The backup can be sent immediately or on a periodic basis (daily or
weekly).
Optimize DB
This plugin lets you do just one simple task: optimize the tables of your database, to reduce their overhead. Though table optimization can be done using phpMyAdmin, this plug-in is much easier to use. Note, it will optimize all tables in the database so if you have other tables outside WordPress in the database they will be affected, too.
W3 Total Cache
W3 Total Cache improves the user experience of your blog by improving your server performance, caching every aspect of your site, reducing the download time of your theme and providing transparent content delivery network (CDN) integration.
